Thanksgiving 2015

Well, it was worth being up all night to make sure the flavors and presentation were right on point! My Thanksgiving dinner menu this year included-two oven roasted chickens stuffed with my cranberry stuffing and baked with oven roasted potatoes and carrots, corn pudding, collard greens seasoned with pork neckbones, baked macaroni and cheese, dressing with cranberries, candied yams, dinner rolls and a garden salad.
Dessert included two of my Madagascar Vanilla Apple Pies, Lemon Buttermilk Pound Cake with a lemon drizzle, and two Pecan Coffee Cakes. My daughter made her famous and extremely tasty sweet potato pies and she also made the delicious collard greens.
It was a blessed time spent with family and friends and now FOOD COMAS are REAL!! As I type this I am enjoying a slice of my Madagascar Vanilla Apple Pie with a scoop of Breyers Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and believe you me this is HEAVEN!!
