4th of July Cupcake Creation!!

On Thursday July 2, 2015 I will surprise my co-workers with 36 of my own creation of 4th of July Cupcakes. The cake will be my own recipe for white cake plus I will poke the cake with strawberry jello to obtain the nice striping pattern in the cupcakes. I will then frost them with my own recipe for fresh vanilla buttercream and decorate them with fresh strawberry slices and whole fresh blueberries to complete the patriotic scene. I have ordered my patriotic cupcake liners and flag toppers to complete the look. I don't really like sprinkles or anything candy like crunching on my frosting when I eat a cupcake so I don't decorate with them either. I will post my finished creations but in the meantime you can use these photos to gain some images of what I will ultimately create. I am so freaking excited designing these cupcakes.

For me a cupcake must first be visually exciting and make my taste buds go into overdrive just from the yummy look of them. Secondly the cake must be super flavorful and MOIST!! Nobody wants to bite down into a dry ass cupcake...I mean really!!! The frosting must be sweet and creamy and melt in your mouth delicious. The garnishments must be FRESH especially if using fruit and the total package must make me want to shove aside my own mother to be the next in line to have another cupcake :)
